USB extension cable over you Cat5 network wires

OK so you want to use a USB device but not have it right next to you. Then of course you have the option to use extension cables and that will work.

But now you want to go a bigger distance how do we solve that.

These USB adapters let you extend you connection to up to 150 feet (45 meters) by using you normal network wires (cat5 / 5e or Cat6) just connect a RJ45 cable to your adapter and you are good to go.

Depending on the distance your connection may drop from USB 2.0 to USB 1.1 but that all depends as how far you push the specs.

This seems to be a great way to connect to devices in different rooms like printers or even external hard drives.

You just have to check out what other say about thisĀ USB Extension Cable of Cat5.
