Protect your iPad for less then 8.5 Dollars

author Posted by: George on date Jun 8th, 2010 | filed Filed under: iPad

OK so now you own a beautifull iPad and of course like me you love this machine.

But what if something happends to it?

The back is nice but really prone to a scratch here or there, and how about the glass on the front? yes it is strong and probably does not scratch to easy but do you want to risk it?

My friends at Budgetgadgets.com send me a suprise package that can really help every iPad owener.

  • A hard shell to protect the iPad from bumps and scratches. The one I got (see picture above) is made out of stronge plastic and this one is shiny black. It easily clicks on the iPad and stays in place without any problems. Now all the corners and side and back are protected agains bumps and scratches. If you want to get it of even that is not to much efford but you need two hands because on it’s own it will not come off.
There is a perfect gap for the volume and tilt switches. This case has a big hole in the middle that shows the Apple logo. Personally I would have prefered it without the hole but it has a huge advantage to. When you normally put your iPad on a flat surface to type you notice it wobbles because it is not flat, now with this case and the hole it does not move at all.
I really enjoy this case I like the grip it gives me and the protection it offers.
  • The second item was this:

Yes a screen protector. Now I don’t have to worry about the screen getting dirty or that it get scartched. It is nice to be see my iPad protected like this and this screen protector comes with a cleaning cloth so that you can get all the dirt of you screen before you put it on. It is not to difficult to put it on but you need to focus when you do so.

As you can see now my iPad is safe from most acidents that can happen to it and you know what is even better, it does not have to cost much either.
Let me show you.

Bright Black Hard Case costs $5.84
Screen Proctor costs                  $2.47

And that makes the total $8.31 and that is including world wide free shipping. And because the Budgetgadget people like our site they offer you 5% discount on anything if you use the coupon code GM5OFF2 and that will make it that you can have those two items for less then 8 Dollars.

I would say be smart and protect you iPad because it is to expensive not to.

As you may have figured out by now I have an iPhone and I love my iPhone but some times it starts to look boring and then I want to give it a nicer look.

Lucky for me my friends at Budgetgadgets.com have a great assortment of great looking cases.

This time I got this Chrome Dual Color Hardcase in Silver and that all for a price that is under the $3 dollars and that include free worldwide shipping.

The case is comes in two parts the chrome part whitch you should put on first and then the black part witch click in place over the Chrome cover. It all makes a strong case witch does not move and nicely protect your iPhone.

The case fits nice just over the front corners so that it almost looks like it one with the phone. This of course will have as result that some dust will hang under the corner but you can still remove the case and clean it.

Let me tell you this case is great and will be on my phone for a while or till I see something else I really like.

Pocketpack for iPhone Preview

author Posted by: George on date Sep 17th, 2009 | filed Filed under: iPhone / iPod Touch

We all know the feeling of to much stuff to carry around. I as a guy don’t want to take a bag and that means that my pants pockets seem to get full once in a while.

But today I found Pocketpack that could help me creating more space in my crowded pockets.

Pocketpack is a case for an iPhone 3G / 3Gs but it will not only protect your phone it will add some extra features. First of all it has a credit card pocket witch offers room for 2 or 3 cards but you can also use it to store some money or maybe your business cards and secondly it offers a LED light.

For me the card storage is the feature that makes me want to have one. Now I have my cards in one pocket and my phone in the other. It would be so handy not to have to search for my cards and not to have to worry that I damage them to much by keeping them loose in my pocket. Pocketpack will deal with that a quick storage for my all so important Credit cards.

After reading a little bit more I found out that the build in LED is extra bright and that makes it handy when you loose your keys or just to look for the lock at the front door when it is dark. But apperently it is even bright enough to help you with you photography. We all know that low light pictures is not the strong point of you iPhone but with a little help of Pocketpack it could be a thing from the past.

The Pocketpack is designed by someone who really thought about this. For instance not like most cases the pocketpack will fit in the Apple dock so that you can charge it, why is this so difficult for most case manufacturers? Of course I don’t expect it to fit in my Podium stand but I don’t expect that. The case will protect your iPhone 3G/s when you are on the go and it even comes with a screen protector so you don’t really have to worry about anything.

Unfortunately for us the Pocketpack is not yet for sale but it will be availible before christmas so that we all can have one under the Christmas tree. And the friendly people from Pocketpack are realy interested in what you think of the product and ask you to tell them what you think. So go visit the Pocketpack website and let them know.

Let me list a couple of the great features you can find at the Pocketpack website:

  • carries currency, stationery or 2-3 cards
  • white LED flashlight activated by touch sensitive switch
  • easy access for battery replacement
  • durable polycarbonate iPhone 3G and 3Gs protection
  • single piece, snap-on jacket with 1mm sidewalls
  • screen protection kit
  • access to all ports and controls
  • fully dockable without removing case

I guess like me you are impressed with this great looking product and want to have one.

So let me know what you think about this cool product and don’t forget to send the Pocketpack people some feedback to.
