Upgrading from iPhone 3G to iPhone 3Gs is it worth it?

OK Apple did it again the new improved iPhone is out. It will take a couple more days before you can buy it but it is just days away.

So now you hear a lot of geeks (OK me geek to) about upgrading from the 3G to the new 3Gs but I really wonder if that is worth it. Don’t get me wrong the new iPhone is nice and of course better then the old one but it does just not seem to offer so much more that it makes it right for me to upgrade.

I would love the better camera but does 3 mega pixel do it so much better? The auto focus sounds neat but again it still does not have a flash like even the Palm Pre has. And that still does not make it a replacement of my normal camera. And yes it does video now and that is really nice but that will not be a deal breaker for me.

Speed that is where the S in 3Gs stands for so OK it will be faster but is the normal 3G that slow? I don’t think I really need that extra speed. I don’t have a data plan on mine so maybe for those people it will make a difference but me as wifi user who does not really uses it’s iPhone for games ithink it will be a waste on me.

And then of course now it offers Nike+ and I run (sometimes) so that would be neat but then again the iPhone is HUGE I think that my old 3e generation Nano with Nike+ is still a better bet for me.

So all and all I don’t think there will be such a big switcher crowed specially because the iPhone still looks like the old one so you will not stick out in the crowds with you “old” phone.

I am on the other hand exited about the new software and that will be working on mine so let it be next week.
