If you like me have ears that are not Apple compatible then you know how difficult it can be to try to use there headphones with build in microphone. For me the Apple headphones just don’t fit and for that reason I still use the ancient Sony once I got with my portable CD player a long long long time ago.

But I would like to use the mic so that I don’t have to hold my iPhone when I am trying to work.

So now there is a solution for that, SmartTalk offers a little cable that you can stick between you iPhone (or other device) and your favorite headphones and by doing so you add a iPhone compatible microphone to your good old headphones.

And that is not all the SmartTalk adapter can pickup calls or send the to voice mail or your can use it to play, pause or skip music so you see this little adapter can change your life like the iPhone did once.

Go check out the SmartTalk iPhone Headphone/Mic Adapter and see how you can enjoy your iPhone even more.

OK let me start by saying that I am not a Nikon person, I always used Canon and probably keep using Canon for a long time. But even as a Canon user I can’ t not talk about this new Nikon Coolpix camera.

OK lets start with the basics.

  • 12.1 megapixels
  • 5x optical zoom
  • 2.7″ LCD display

and of course all the other standard stuff we all know come with camera’s.

But Nikon has something new on this camera and it is a built in projector. Yes the Nikon coolpic S1000pj is the first digital camera with a build in projector so that you can show your friends the pictures you took, just like in the olden days on a slide projector.

It can show pictures and video up to 40″ big and that makes it an great media player.

You see it could be a fun gadget to have. I will keep with Canon but if you are thinking of something cool then check out the Nikon Coolpix S1000pj today.

CableDrop Cable Clips

author Posted by: George on date Oct 9th, 2009 | filed Filed under: Cables

Lots of us these days work on laptops and that means we have a lot of wire lying around.

The pictures above kinda tells a story about how my cables should look but they don’t.

Right now there are the following cables on my desk:

  • power cable laptop
  • printer cable
  • USB cable for my camera
  • Ethernet cable
  • iPhone sync cable
  • external hard drive cable

You see way to many cable just lying loose. But with the CableDrop this could all be organized a lot nicer. Just stick one of the clips at the edge of you desk and route the cable through it and there you are no loose wire any more till you pull it up to use it.

For me this would be a great solution and I will be getting one of these. They come in a set of 6 (2 of each color) and for less the 10 dollars it seems money well spend.

Check out the CableDrop Cable Clips and see how they could improve you desk.

Fitbit

author Posted by: George on date Oct 6th, 2009 | filed Filed under: Home use

I found this new little gadget that seems interesting if you like to keep track of what you do in a day.

The Fitbit is basicly a clip that you carry with you all day and night and it keeps track of you activities like a stepcounter does and keeps track of the calloties you burn.

And it does more at night you clip it on a wristband and it keeps track of you sleep patern, it tells you when you fell asleep and how often you woke up at night.

And then once in a while you place the clip on the stand and it will charge and send the data to the Fitbit website where you can then see how you did.

It seems like a very neath exercise tool that tells you some basic info about how you move in a day. Do you move around enough or is there way to little fisical activitie in you life.

To me this gadget seems a neath way of keeping track but for now it only is availible in the US so if you are interested check out the Fitbit website.
