Koala Bear Card Reader

Our friends at sent us this little fun-looking Card Reader.

The Card Reader is in the shape of a koala bear and comes with a cord for carrying around. Personally I don’t think I would carry it around, but it could be cool to have this hanging on your backpack when you go to school.

The Card Reader is situated in the head of the koala. To access the USB connector you just pull its head out of the body.

If you’re looking for a fast memory card reader that reads your SD or MMC cards, or even your SD HC cards, then you should be looking at this little fellow. This card reader supports USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 and goes to speeds up to 480 Mbps.

I am very impressed with this reader’s speed. It read my SD and SD HC cards with no problems, at a speed I did not get with my previous card readers. The koala has a little LED on the back of its head to tell you that it’s connected. Besides that, using it is a breeze.

There are two things that need attention. First, the cards go in with the label to the back. Second, it is kind of difficult to use on a laptop.

Koalas have big heads, which means that this fellow’s head is thicker than my MacBook Pro. I now connect this reader using a small USB cable that I keep for situations like this.

Aside from that, the Koala Bear Card Reader is one of the most fun yet functional card readers you’ll find.

And that’s not all. This little Koala Bear Card Reader is super affordable. As of this post, is offering this product for $3.58 including shipping.

Go check out the Koala Bear Card Reader and let me know what you think of it.

Here they are the computer speakers you can’t live with out.

You connect them to your USB port and they are compatible with USB 2.0 and Windows and Mac’s (no drivers needed).

And because of the great design these USB speakers are giving a great sound so great that I can’t even explain it so check the link below for more information about that.

Just put this piece of wire between you iPod cord and the charger and you are ready to go.
