WII news ready to go on your Nintnedo WII

Nintendo did it again. This morning when I came downstairs my Nintendo Wii was asking for my attention by flashing it’s drive slot. That normally means that there is a message. ;)

So today it was a message from Nintendo telling me that the News Channel was live and ready to go. Didn’t they plan this for tomorrow (January 27th)?????

A well it’s here. Just follow the update instructions (a new firmware update i guess) and after a couple of minutes the news channel is ready to go.

As in the news earlier this week Nintendo has made a deal with AP (associated press) to supply them with the news for the Wii. And that should mean that we get up to date news :)

Memory Infinite, USB Storage

Memory Infinite, USB Storage

Designer Vicky Wei thought about a way to increase you memory stick. And the way she did this is by making them attachable to each other so that you can create lager memory volumes and still be flexible.

Just plug one usb memory inflinite in to another and there you have a bigger storage volume.

It sounds like a nice and useful way of sorting out all you memory. It is still in a design face but it would be something on my wish list.

Wii Wireless Sensor Bar

Wireless Sensor Bar for the Nintendo Wii

Lets stick with the Gaming stuff for this post 😉

Nyko like the last two posts introduced a nice new product at the CES.

This one is a Wireless Sensor Bar for your Nintendo Wii. Now you can finally have your sensor bar far away from your Wii and it’s detection range is also bigger (works up to 25 feet away).

So this seems to be the ideal extension for you Wii if you living room is big or if you don’t want your Wii next to your TV.

It runs for about 30 hours on 4 AAA batteries and that is a big downside for me. The nice thing is that it seems to fit in the original Sensor Bar stand that Nintendo delivers with the Wii.

thanks to IGN for this info.
